David R. Bellis, 83, of Greensburg died Friday, October 23, 2015 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.
He was born November 10, 1931 in Hopewell, NJ, a son of the late David R. Bellis, Sr. and Irene Shupp Bellis.
Prior to retirement, he was vice president of sales for Latrobe Steel. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1957. David was a member of Latrobe Country Club and a former member of Laurel Valley Country Club. At one time, he was involved with the local Boy Scouts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Emch Bellis.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Conlin Andrus Bellis; a daughter, Holly L. Blake of Greensburg; 2 grandchildren, Angela and Kyle Blake; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 cousins, Walter and Bill Shimer and Joan Stocker.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 am until David's hour of service at 11 am at Charter Oak United Methodist Church, 449 Frye Farm Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charter Oak United Methodist Church at address above or to the Welcome Home Shelter, 218 South Maple Avenue, Greensburg, PA 15601.
