Dennis Fite, 67 of Greensburg, formerly of Ligonier and Scottdale passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 following a brief illness surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born Sunday, April 25, 1943 in Mt Pleasant Son of the late Robert E. and Leola Fite.
Dennis was a graduate of Scottdale High School and Purdue University.
He was the former owner of the Fite Insurance Co. in Ligonier and was a partner in the Westmor Insurance Co. in Scottdale.
Dennis was a past president of the Ligonier Country Club.
He was preceded in death besides his parents by an infant son Eric..
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Trish Hart Fite and Daughters, Stephanie Fite of Scottdale, and Rebekah Daugherty and husband Keith of Ligonier a Son, Christopher Fite and wife Susan of Indiana, three Grandchildren, Haley, McKenna and Greyson Daugherty, two Brothers, Theodore and wife Dorothy Fite of Scottdale , James and wife Mary Fite of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews..
Family and Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 PM followed by a memorial service to begin at 8 pm with Rev. Keith Solomon officiating at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg
