Dian Wright Moss, 60 of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, passed away, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her home.
She was born July 15, 1952 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late George Beatty and Ruth Winters Wright.
Dian received her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, and was a reading specialist and elementary classroom teacher for the Hempfield School District for over 30 years. Dian was wonderful with children and enjoyed her work immensely. She was a member of Irwin Male Chorus and was very active with Queen of Angels Drama Club, helping with choreography.
Besides her parents, Dian was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. H. Gene Moss in 2012.
Surviving are her stepson, Robert James Moss and wife, Lorianne, stepdaughter, Barbara C. Moss-Castilla and husband, Yan, her four granddaughters, Miya Castilla, Lilian Castilla, Sofia Moss, and Natalie Moss; special first cousins, Robert Edward Best III and Rebecca Best, and also numerous other cousins.
Dian adored everyone and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4pm & 6 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home (an authorized remembrance provider), 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Services will be held on Wednesday at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home at 10am with Rev. Steve Craft officiating.
Entombment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
