Donald Victor Pike, 78 of Greensburg, passed away at his home surrounded by family on December 19, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 20, 1934 in Greensburg, a son of the late Anthony and Mary Pike. He graduated from Greensburg High School and served two years in the Army. He retired from General Motors after working for 44 years as a tool and die maker. He enjoyed the time he spent with his son, nephews, and friends hunting and fishing as well as his morning coffee at Jamie's Auto.
Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Red, Frank, and Richard Pike.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Weaver Pike, his son, Douglas, daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn, and granddaughter, Samantha all of Greensburg, his two sisters, Agnes Lah of Colorado and Elsie Fedele of California, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Services will be held at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home on Friday at 10:00 am with Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park
