Donald "Butch" Wolfe, 69 of Greensburg, passed away, Thursday, July 12, 2012,
He was drafted into the Army in May of 1964 and sent to Korea for 14 months as an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam War. Don was a member of S.W.O.R.D. and I.U.P.A.T District Council 57 Retirees Club and a member of Alwine Community Civic Center.
Don retired at age 60, from Easley and Rivers Inc. after 30 years.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude V. Johnston and William H. Wolfe and sister, Darlan "Dolly" Newell Schreckengost, brother William "Joe" Wolfe, and twin brother, Ronald "Buzz" Wolfe.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Twila Wilhelm Wolfe, sons, Glenn and wife, Pamela Wolfe of Dunbar, PA, Brian and wife, Kinberly Wolfe of Hobart, IN. Pap pap will be greatly missed by his granddaughters, Cassidy J. Wolfe and Jessica A. Wolfe and Uncle Butch will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, their families and many many friends.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4 - 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Additional visitation will be on Monday from 10 to 10:30am.
Services will be begin at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 am.
Interment with full military services accorded by the VFW Post #33 will follow in the Eastview Cemetery in Delmont.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alwine Community Civic Center 592 Old State Route 66, Greensburg, PA 15601.
