Donna Black

Donna Shaffer Black, of Greensburg died on Sunday November 18, 2018, her 89th birthday.  She was born in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Donald Shaffer and Mary Stahl Shaffer.  She was a graduate of Greensburg High School and was a member of Maplewood Presbyterian Church.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a legal secretary until she was 85 years of age.  Donna was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed the River City Brass Concerts.  She volunteered at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She loved vacations at the beach with her family, water skiing at Deep Creek Lake and family Christmases.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Black and son Kirk Black.  Donna is survived by her son Gary Black and his wife Wendy; grandchildren, Jennifer Black and her husband, Jon Smith, Matthew Black and his spouse David Majocha and Katie Vincent; great grandchildren, Xavier, Abigail, Amelia Smith; daughter-in-law, Patti Vincent and her husband John; also, 2 nephews and a niece.  Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  Donna’s funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Stephen M.
