Donna Chanon

April 4, 1938 — August 14, 2013

Donna L. Chanon, 75 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Redstone Highlands.

She was born April 4, 1938 in Jeannette, daughter of the late Charles and Emma M. (Flowers) Chanon.

Donna retired from Latrobe Plastics after 40 years as an office manager.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and associate member of St. Matthias Lutheran Church.

She was also was a member of Jeannette Eastern Star and PALs of Greensburg. Donna volunteered at Hempfield-Greensburg Library and at The Blackburn Center Women's Shelter. She very much enjoyed the monthly dinners with "The Girl Cousins."

Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a nephew, Andrew C. Kocinski and great niece, Andrea Kocinski.

Surviving are her, sister, Judith Kocinski and husband, Andrew I., nephew, Richard Kocinski and wife, Candice, great niece, Jennifer A. (Kocinski) Susman and husband, Jonathan, great niece, Jessica D. (Kocinski) Nowlin and husband, Robert, II., and great great nephews, Joshua Kovalcin, Taylor Susman, and Robert Nowlin, III.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.

Services will be held at St. Matthias Lutheran Church 100 Chapel View Dr., Greensburg on Saturday at 9:30 am with Pastor Paul Gruesu officiating. (Everyone please go directly to the church).

Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
