Doris W. Garrity, 84, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Greensburg passed away on Friday October 21, 2011 at the Pristine Pines in Wexford.

She was born in Hempfield Twp. on March 17, 1927 to the late Joseph and Nora (Hudson) Wagner. Doris was a retired employee of the former Troutman's Dept. Store in Greensburg.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Garrity in 1988.

Doris is survived by her son Thomas Garrity and wife, Sue of Pittsburgh, three Grandchildren - Scott Garrity of Pittsburgh, Kristi Garrity and fiancAC. Jon Veenis of Greensburg and Colin Garrity of Pittsburgh; one Great-Grandson, Vincent Veenis, along with her brothers and sisters Richard Dean Wagner and wife, Betty of Sarver, Winogene Rae of Youngwood, James Wagner of Youngwood, Marjorie Thomas and husband, James of Youngwood, Donald Wagner and wife Janet of Harrison City and a brother in law, James Garrity of Greensburg a sister in law Sarah Hook of Derry and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

Funeral services will begin on Monday at 10 am in the funeral home with the Rev. John Morrow officiating.

Interment services will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery If friends desire Memorial contributions are suggested to one's favorite charity. Terence L.
