Doris D. Kaufman, of Greensburg, PA, passed away March 6, 2024. Daughter of Joseph and Eva Levin, died in Denver, Colorado surrounded by her family. She was 94. Born June 20, 1929, Doris attended Jeannette Public Schools. She was a member of the sisterhood at Temple Emanuel, and for many years a member of the Women’s Junior League. She worked at Perfection Photo and retired from Malloy’s CameraCade in Greensburg. She was one of the matriarchal figures that graced, molded, and grew many of the Northmonts youth into thriving adults today. She loved playing cards and Mahjong with friends, but she really enjoyed getting beat in cards by her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard B. `Huddie” Kaufman and a sister, Ruth Jacobelli. Doris is survived by her siblings Esther Fisher of Titon Falls, New Jersey, Yale (Marlene) Levin of Export, Pa., and Sandy (Geri) Levin of Pottstown, Pa.; three children, Becky (Philip) Belefski, of Denver, Colorado; Jeff Kaufman of Greensburg, Pa; and Bill (Sally) Kaufman of Fruita, Colorado. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren, Erin (Justin) and Meggie Belefski; Stephanie, Jackie, Christopher (Caitlyn) and their mother Patricia Horigan; John Louria, Kiefer and Kelby Kaufman; and five great grandchildren, Bella Belefski, Lawson Louria, Caelen Horigan, Nora and Leo Horigan. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Doris’ cousin, Stan Gordon and his wife, Deb, whose constant companionship enriched her life. Family and friends will be received from 10:00am to 12:00pm, March 15, 2024, at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. There will be a graveside service following at the B'nai Israel Cemetery.
