Doris A. (Dori) Sarver, 84 of Greensburg passed away on Monday 2/3/2014 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in Greensburg on 3/23/1929 and was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Edythe Baker Davis.
Dori was a retired homemaker and was very involved throughout her life with music and had been a wonderful soloist and sang with the church choirs at the First United Church of Christ, Trinity United Church of Christ, Harrold's Zion Lutheran Church all in Greensburg and the First United Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant where she was presently a member. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband S. Wayne Sarver a sister Lillian Mensch and two grandson's Christian and Brett Sarver.
Dori was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother and is survived by her three sons Timothy (Theresa) Sarver, Paul (Barbara) Sarver and Chuck (Linda) Sarver and five grandchildren Rebecca Stein, Rachael, Tessa, Kyle and Jordan Sarver and two great grandchildren Corianne and Shoshanna Stein. Also her brother Paul A. (Elaine) Davis and brother and sister-in-law Ray and Kathleen Sarver.
Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. Services will be held on Friday at 11 am in the funeral home with Rev. Robert Free officiating. Interment will be in the St. Clair Cemetery.
