Dorothea J. 'Dottie' McSorley, 77 of Greensburg, passed away, Friday, February 28, 2014 at her home.
She was born June 22, 1936 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late William and Lydia (Zeller) Johnson.
Dorothea was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Point.
She worked as a Jury Clerk at the Westmoreland County Courthouse.
Besides her parents, Dorothea was preceded in death by her brother, William Johnson.
Surviving are her husband, J. Dorsey McSorley, sons, Gary W. McSorley of Lumberton, MS and Dale A. McSorley of Greensburg, daughter, Wendi L. O'Brien of Greensburg, six grandchildren, Merilee Hawkins (Daniel), , Sherri McSorley, Tina Warden (Chad) and Tommy McSorley all of Lumberton, MS, and Alida Gettemy (Matt), and Casey O'Brien, all of Unity Twp.; nine great grandchildren, cousin, Betty Omundsen of FL and two special friends, Nancy Hutson and Mary Pope.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 4-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10am with Rev. David Clemente officiating.
Interment will take place later on Thursday in the Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery (formerly North Side Catholic) in Pittsburgh.
