Dorothy Weyandt

Dorothy A. Weyandt, 83 of Greensburg, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born November 6, 1925 in Herminie, a Daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Christner.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Southwest Greensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice O. Weyandt, a Infant daughter Cheryl Weyandt, Two sons, Walter Weyandt and Maurice A. Weyandt, a grandson Shawn Gettins, and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her loving children Dorothy Spears and husband Richard of Blairsville, , David Weyandt and wife Wanda of Mechanicsburg, Gary Weyandt and wife Judie of Radcliffe, Ky., Stephen Weyandt of Youngwood, Shelley Gettins and husband James of Greensburg, Rose Reed and husband Rick of Youngwood, and Bruce Weyandt and wife Karen of White, Two Daughters -in-law, Darlene Weyandt of New Stanton and Dianne Weyandt, of Youngwood, Twenty Four Grandchildren , Twenty Two Great Grandchildren, and One Great -Great Grandchild.
Dorothy will be remembered for her positive attitude and great sense of humor.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Inc., 524 North Main St. Greensburg.
A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home, on Thursday, at 10:00 AM with Rev. William Waugh officiating.
Interment will follow in the Middletown Methodist Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
