Earl V. Vogt , 87 of Jeannette passed away on Friday February 8, 2013 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. .
He was born on June 6, 1925 in Greensburg and was the son of the late Arthur and Bertha Vogt.
Earl was a retired employee of the Elliott Corp .in Jeannette and a member of the Maplewood Presbyterian Church in Greensburg .
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a daughter Bethany Ann Vogt and a sister Betty Albright .
Earl is survived by his loving wife Gene Williams Vogt and two sons Brian of Jeannette and Chris of California along with three grandchildren, Jason Vogt, Kristen Davis and Christopher Vogt.
Honoring Earl's wishes there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 11am in the Maplewood Presbyterian Church with Rev. Steve LaSor officiating.
A private graveside service will be held in the St. John Union Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant Twp.
