Edna G. Mattia 98 formerly of Hunker went to be with her Lord on Monday 12/26/2011
She was born on 6/20/1913 in Smithsferry, Pa. and was the daughter of the late James P. and Martha Blackburn Glasgow. She had been a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Youngwood. Edna was a retired employee from the Old Republic Insurance Company in Greensburg and a former volunteer at the Westmoreland Manor.
She was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband Louis J. Mattia and two sons, Sgt James H. Moore and Ronald A. Moore, two grandsons Scott Moore and David Mutchler and a sister Doris Glasgow.
Surviving is her daughter Martha Mutchler-Brinker of Greensburg and seven grandchildren, Jeff, Cynthia, Melissa, Bonnie, Timmy, Kelly and Susan. Along with four great-grandchildren Steven, Brian,Jennifer and Eric and three great- great grandchildren and a sister Winifred Glasser of Derry.
Honoring Edna's wishes there will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be in the St. Clair Cemetery.
