Eleanor P. Griffith, 88, of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, September 8, 2014 in her home. She was born September 22, 1925 in Greensburg a daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Hartley) Walker.

Mrs. Griffith was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg where she had been a member of the church choir and along with her late husband was a former Youth leader. She was also a Sunday School teacher for those with special needs in the Greensburg community. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crafts and gardening and time spent with her dog, Happy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene D. Griffith, Sr; her son, Eugene D. Griffith, Jr. and a brother, Charles Walker.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy E. Griffith of Greensburg; Rebecca L. Griffith of Latrobe; a daughter in law, Deb Griffith; two granddaughters, Dawn Marie Griffith and Heather Ann Moffitt and four great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Gracie, Quinlan and Johannes.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. Greensburg, where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 am with her pastor, Rev. W. Stephen Morse officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Christian Education Fund 15 E.
