Eleanor Laughlin

Eleanor L. “Ellie” Laughlin, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, April 03, 2018, at home.  She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late George and Alice Lamb Loerch.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg.  Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary for her family’s business, Westmoreland Supply Co.  For nearly 60 years, she enjoyed getting together with her card club girls once a month, but that included memories of a lifetime.  Ellie was an avid Steelers fan and never missed a game to cheer them on!  Ellie was a loving mother and always believed that family was everything to her.  She was so proud of and adored her three daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald T. “Clyde” Laughlin.  She is survived by her daughters, Sandy  Ohr (Alex), Beth Phillabaum, and Lori  Upholster (Rob), all of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Robbie Kristoff (Jen), Amy Biller (Jeremy), Kristy Evanson-Ohr (Lisa), Dawn and Ricky Phillabaum; her great grandchildren, Michael, Lexi, Tyler, Brooke and Logan; several nieces and nephews; also, her grand dog, Sprocket, which she watched on a daily basis.  Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  Ellie’s funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:30 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Annette V.
