Emma M. Baird, 91 of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, September 30 in Nature Park Commons, Hempfield Township.
She was born June 4, 1922 in Hempfield Twp, one of eleven children of the late Ira I. and Lovina A. (Henry) Fox .
Emma was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and enjoyed working her jigsaw puzzles.
Before she retired she was the
Church Secretary for Otterbien United Methodist Church in Greensburg.
In addition to her parents,
Emma was preceded in death by a grandson, Jesse Patton and eight sisters, and one brother.
Surviving are her husband John H. Baird Jr. and a daughter, Lynne A. Smith and husband, Tim, a brother, Ira Fox and wife, Sharon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Emma's family would like to thank her church family for their prayers and her nieces and nephews for all their love and care and the Excela Hospice for all their compassion during her illness.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held on Thursday at Otterbein United Methodist Church, at 11:00 am with Pastor Sung Chung officiating. (everyone please go directly to the church)
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park
