Ethel M. "Marcia" Engelbrecht, 91, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Sunrise of Presque Isle Bay, Erie.
She was born June 27, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Rev. Olof and Ethel Dolquest Lundgren.
She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Greensburg. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and went to work as a proofreader at the McKeesport Daily News. Prior to retirement, she worked with the Standard Observer (now the Tribune-Review) as a proofreader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John "Jack" Engelbrecht, in 2003; and by siblings, Luther Lundgren, Elmo Lundgren, Lois Casperson and Dorothy Hodgson.
Marcia is survived by her daughter, Beth Nagy (Phillip), of Erie; two sisters, Thelma Lundgren, of Illinois, and Ruth Dragelin, of North Carolina; a brother, Clyde E. Lundgren, of Pennsylvania; also two grandchildren, Rachel Haber (Adam), of North Carolina, and John Nagy (Becky Leusch), of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.
Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 501 Fairfield Drive, Greensburg.
Entombment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
