Evelyn E. (Zisman) Montgomery, 82, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at the Westmoreland Manor nursing home.
She was born June 26, 1933, in Bridgeport, CT, a daughter of the late John Zisman and Elsie (Knopf) Zisman.
She was a graduate from Warren Harding high school. She also resided in Stratford, CT for a number of years, near Longbrook Park. She worked at Sikorsky aircraft for over 12 years in Stratford, CT. She later moved to live with her daughter (Linda) in Naples, FL and then eventually moved to Greensburg, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her four daughters and grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover at heart and always enjoyed the outdoors in her garden.
She was a sibling to two brothers, John Zisman and Bobby Zisman, and a sister, Gladys Graham.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Kevin) Dinger, of Naples, FL, Beverly Montgomery, of Naugatuck, CT, Penny (Scott) Baird, of Greensburg, PA and Debbie Montgomery, of Jeannette, PA. Also, survived by her seven grandchildren, Kevin Dinger, Jr., Nicki Dinger, Shana Bufalini, Matthew Robertson, Raymond Rosenkoetter, Jr., Tyler Rosenkoetter and Chantel Baird.
Evelyn's family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at the Westmoreland Manor and the caregivers from the Promise Hospice team for their loving help and support.
