Faye E. Auciello, 84 a life long resident of Greensburg passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Redstone Highlands in Murrysville.
She was born Sunday, June 6, 1926 in Charleston, W. Va., Daughter of the late Joseph and Flora Haynes Crowder.
Faye graduated with a master's degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh.
Before her retirement she had been a first grade teacher at the Nicely Elementary school for the Greensburg Salem School District .
She had been a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg.
Surviving are her loving husband, Joseph Auciello Jr. and their children Kay E. Auciello of San Francisco, Calif., John J. Auciello and wife Debra of Export and Michael P. Auciello and wife Michele of Exton, Pa. along with four grandchildren Jon P., Bryan J. and wife Kelly, Greg M. and Dave J. Auciello and one great grandchild Carter J. Auciello.
Family and Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg with additional visitation in the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 am till 10:30 am followed by prayer service. Interment services will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
