Ferrold E. Devericks, 76 of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in New Haven Court at Lindwood, Greensburg.

He was born February 11, 1939 in Avon, WV, son of late Robert W. and Thelma (Nicholson) Devericks.

Ferrold was a member of Charter Oak United Methodist Church in Latrobe. He graduated from Victory High School in Clarksburg, WV in 1957 and St Vincent College in 1977 with a degree in Accounting. He loved trout fishing, boating, and traveling, especially to Maui, Hawaii. Ferrold also was a US Army veteran.

He worked for Allegheny Power for 35 years, before retiring in 1997, as the Director of Human Resources. He was also a member of the Hermon Masonic Lodge No. 6, F. & A. M. in Clarksburg and a Past Worthy Patron of Queen Esther Chapter No. 11, Order of the Eastern Star in Clarksburg, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws Mr.and Mrs. Murl Twigg.

Ferrold loved his family. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Beth E. Devericks, his daughter Lynn E. Schmauch and her husband Christopher, with their children Courtney Lynn and Taylor Lynn Schmauch of Latrobe; daughter Audria Dawn Craven and former son-in-law, Matthew Craven and their children Skyler Gail and McKinley Beth Craven of Greensburg; brother-in-law, Robert E. Twigg and family of Bridgeport, WV.

His family would like to thank Carol, Angel, Lisa and the staff of Amedisys Hospice Care and the staff of New Haven Court at Lindwood for taking wonderful care of Ferrold in his last days. Also, gratitude to the Sister of Charity Seton Hill Day Care in Greensburg.

Honoring Ferrold's wishes service will be private and his final resting place will be in Bridgeport Cemetery, Bridgeport, WV.
