Florence Rush Cole, 93 of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Kelly's Personal Care Home Hempfield Twp.
She was born July 19, 1916 in Greensburg, a Daughter of the late Charles G. and Clara T. Rush.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 281, Westmoreland Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and former member of Hannastown Golf Club, and an avid bridge player.
Florence worked for the Troutman Dept Store prior to her retirement.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Cole ,a Son David J. Cole, Jr. and her sister Ruth Harvey.
Surviving are a Daughter, Marjorie Cole Landers and husband William, of Maryland, Grandson, William Blair and wife Korie, two great Granddaughters, Kaylee and Abby, and a Niece, Patty Kelly.
Family and friends will be received Sunday 1-4 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home,Inc., 524 North Main St., Greensburg.
A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home, on Monday at 10 AM with Rev. Robert Hawk officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either Zion Lutheran Church , 140 South Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601 or Medi Hospice, 9173 Rt. 30 Irwin, PA 15642 in memory of Florence.
