Florence E. Hennon, 95, of Greensburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Friday, April 24, 2015. She was born Aug. 15, 1919, to the late Raymond E. and Florence I. (Mandale) Charlier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Hennon, in 1973; and two sisters, Drina Browett and Margaret Burns. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra R. "Sandie" Murnyack (Alex); son, Gary W. Hennon (Denise); seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Alpha Ministries and had been a secretary for Full Gospel Church until her retirement at the age of 80. Previous to that she had been a secretary at Maplewood Presbyterian Church for many years. Her life can be celebrated in the words of a note written by her granddaughter, Melissa Robinson: "Grandma, Thank you for being a good and faithful servant, by living a life of prayer, you have built up an incomparable inheritance for your family, your children, grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The highest inheritance that can ever be passed down to family is the knowledge of God. Thanks to you grandma, our lives will be spiritually blessed for generations to come. We Love You! Goodbye for now until we see you again in Glory!" Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Additional viewing will be held from noon Tuesday until the hour of service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. James Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
