Frances H. Keenan, 101 of Greensburg passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born in Oil City and was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Frances (Ausel) Hanna .
Frances was a retired Bell Telephone Operator and later work as a switch board operator for many years with Westmoreland Hospital.
Frances was an active member and also the oldest member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg and a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers and the senior center at the armory in Greensburg.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Keenan in 1982, brothers, Harry, Lloyd and Richard Hanna, sisters, Muriel and Ruth, and granddaughter, Beatrice Bonfigli.
Surviving are her children, Frances K. Pizza and husband, Dino of Florida, Harry R. Keenan and wife, Janet and Barbara Rumbaugh and husband Donald all of Greensburg, 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Esther Brown, and Jean Crosby.
Family and Friends will be received Sunday, 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held Monday at Zion Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm with Pastor Paul Gruesu officiating. (Everyone is to go directly to the church).
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
