Francis Tracy

Francis C. Tracy of Hempfield Twp. passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2011 after a lingering illness.
He was born in Johnstown and was the son of the late Anthony and Pauline Pristak Tracy.
Francis had served in the Army during WW II in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre.
He had been a former self employed business operator with various businesses in the following areas, Beaver Falls, Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Connellsville and Dunbar Twp before his retirement. He was a life member of the VFW Post # 47.
He was preceded in death besides his parents by his brothers, John, Walter, Stanley, Anthony, Steve, Edward and Richard and sisters, Mary, Cecelia and Josephine.
Francis is survived by his loving wife Bernice T. Tracy and children Barbara, Paulette, Wayne, Eric and Scott and a sister Helen Koerner along with many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Private Interment with military honors was conducted with the family on Thursday in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
