Franklyn Baker, 79 of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, August 9 2016. He was born in Greensburg, to Franklyn B. Baker and Ruth (McMinnic) Baker. Frank was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Frank was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He worked as a Painter for Seton Hill college for 44 years before retiring.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sara Chambers, three brothers, John, Joe and Frank Baker.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Shirley Baker, daughter, Pamelia Steinmeyer and husband Jeff, daughter, Patricia Tippins and husband Tom, son, Frank Baker and wife Amy, son, Michael Baker and wife Deanna, daughter, Kimberly Kostyak and husband Chris. 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 10:00AM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
A prayer services will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Full Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 33 of Greensburg.
