Frederick Steiner Sr

Frederick R. ( Randy) Steiner 74 of Greensburg passed away on Thursday 11/24/2011 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
He was born in Greensburg on 5/1/1937 and was the son of the late Frederick Richard Steiner and Rose Couchenour Steiner.
Randy had served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a retired employee of the Tribune Review with 20 years of service
He was a longtime member , elder and deacon of the Hempfield Church of Christ and also the DAV #17 in Indiana.
Surviving are his loving wife Donna J. Steiner and his children Frederick R. Steiner Jr. and wife Laurie, Melody Steiner Choate and husband Rev. Phil Choate and Brian Steiner and wife Kim along with nine grandchildren and a sister Darlene Trout and husband John.
Family and Friends will be received at the Hempfield Church of Christ, 144 Hugh Black Road, Greensburg on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm.
Services will be held at the church on Tuesday at 11 am with Rev. Mike Hazelton and Rev. Phil Choate co-officiating.
Interment will be held in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial
contributions be made to either the Hempfield Church of Christ or the Christian Children Home of Ohio, PO Box 765, Wooster, Ohio 44691 .
