Gail (Hockenbery) Turney, 93 of Williamsport, formerly of Charter Oak, Greensburg passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Williamsport.
She was born August 30, 1916 in Greensburg, a Daughter of the late Wilson and Elizabeth (Martz) Hockenbery.
She was a life member of the First Baptist Church, Greensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David S. Turney (1999) and a brother Wilson Ward Hockenbery.
Surviving are a Daughter, Olivia Turney Trombino and husband Joseph of Chesapeake, VA., Son, D. Lynn Turney and wife Robin of Montgomery, Three Grandchildren, Gwendolyn Walton, Tristan Turney, and Emily Turney, a Great-Grandchild, Greyor Turney, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 north Main St., Greensburg.
A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1228 Brinkerton Road, Greensburg on Monday at 10 AM with Rev. Dean Davidson officiating.
Private interment will be in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Greensburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in memory of Gail.
