Garnet L. Gilan

Garnet L Gilan, 82, of Greensburg, died, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Hempfield Manor. She was born in Greensburg on August 29, 1942, a daughter of the late Ruth Jamison Carnes. Garnet was a member of St. Bruno Parish. Along with her husband, she enjoyed travelling and visiting friends in Palm Springs, CA. Garnet is survived by her husband of 62 years, Francis E. Gilan; her son, Jason Gilan (Megan); her grandson, Enzo Gilan; a brother, Roy Carnes (Rebecca); also, numerous cousins. Family and friends will be received from 5 pm to 7 pm on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A liturgy outside of mass will be held in the funeral home at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
