Garnet Burkholder Riddle, 94, formerly of South Greensburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at the Chambersburg Hospital, in Chambersburg, Pa. She was born Jan. 11,1926, in Scottdale, the daughter of the late Irvin and Lida Davis Burkholder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Riddle, her brothers, Wilmer and Howard Burkholder, and her sisters, Eva Ruth Burkholder Masters and Evelyn Burkholder. Garnet is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Jeanne Riddle and husband, Kevin Bryant, of Bailey, N.C., Donna Lucille Riddle, of Blue Bell, Pa., and Amy Gale Riddle Gobat and husband, Alan Gobat, of Shippensburg; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Garnet Gobat. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her sisters-in-law, Betty (Clark) Riddle and Melva (Howard) Burkholder. She was a member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church. Garnet worked as a data review technician for the Social Security Administration for 32 years before retiring in 1985. Friends and family may attend a service at the graveside at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Masks and social distancing are respectfully required. Arrangements are being handled by KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME.
