Gary Henry

Gary Allen Henry, 66 of Greensburg died, Monday, June 5, 2017.  He was born March 6, 1951 in Connellsville a son of the late Donald “Dirt” Henry and Cleo (Freedman) Henry.

Car racing was Gary’s passion and at age 15 he was already building and successfully driving stock cars, achieving many wins.  As a car owner, his race team acquired three consecutive National Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS) championship titles.  He was self-employed in the automotive business for 45 years and was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School Class of 1969.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Cindy (Newill) Henry and her children, Matt and Courtney Rusinko, two grandchildren, Stella and Hannah; a sister, Sharon Showman and three brothers, Rick, Bobby and Jeff.

At Gary’s request, there will be no viewing or services.  Arrangements are in the care of KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC 524 N.
