Gary A. Luhovey

Gary A. Luhovey, 77 of Irwin, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He was born June 4, 1947 in Greensburg, a son of the late George Luhovey Sr. and Mary Margaret Schade Luhovey. Gary served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he worked for the United States Postal Service. Surviving are his son, Gary A. Luhovey, Jr.; daughter, Christie Renee Luhovey; brother, George Luhovey; sisters, Valerie S. Tapper and her husband, John, and Alane Luhovey Couse; longtime companion, Carole Delassandro; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 26th from 1 to 4pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 27th at 11am. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
