Gayle Thomas “Tom” Hall, 81, of Harrison City, died, Thursday, February 27, 2025, in his home. He was born in Detroit, MI, December 5, 1943, a son of the late Carman and Violet Pershing Hall.
Tom was a veteran and served in the Marines for 4 years. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a PA state computer analyst at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Tom also owned his own construction business for 15 years. Along with his wife Kathy, he helped start the Christian Fellowship Center, Cornerstone and Living Waters Churches. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom and Kathy loved travelling, covering the east coast. They also made a special trip to Ireland for their 50th Anniversary.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Kathleen M. “Kathy” Booth Hall; his son, Brandon Hall; and a brother, Dale Hall. Tom is survived by his son Clinton Hall (Andrea Jackson); his sister, Doreen Hall; step-grandson, Aziz Al-Shaikhli; his beloved Boston Terrier, Two Two. Family and friends will be received from 1 pm until the hour of service at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. The service will be officiated by Kathy Chobirko. Private interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
