George Hayden

George Wesley Hayden, 73, of Greensburg, passed away on June 27, 2013 at his home.

He was born on July 16, 1939 to Jacob F. and Helen Collins Hayden in Greensburg.

George worked as a Heavy Truck Mechanic for Allegheny Power.

He was a member of Life Spring Christian Church where he served as Deacon.

George was preceded in death by his parents a daughter, Debbie Lynn Pearsol, granddaughter, Alyssa Burnside, and grandson, Christopher Scott Goodwin.

George is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Betty Kramer Hayden and his children; Pastor Roland D. Blake and wife, Marlene, George W. Hayden Jr. and wife, Paula, Renee C. Jones, Jason W. Hayden and wife, Jesseca; sister, Joann Spor and husband, Fred, sister-in-law, Pastor Helen Marie Barnhart, brother-in-law, Pastor Gary Barnhart, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.


Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1pm - 5 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 10:30 am with Pastor Dale Adams officiating.
