Grace Poli

Grace Lourene Poli, 90 of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born February 26, 1920 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Homer and Elizabeth Tray Goodman.
She was a loving homemaker and belonged to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Catholic Church. She served in the US Navy Waves during World War II. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross and Wesmoreland Hospital for 18 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amerigo (Gus) Poli; two brothers, Glenn and James Goodman and a sister, Helen McCurdy.
She is survived by her sons, David J. Poli and his wife Shelley of Ligonier; and Brian R. Poli of Athens, GA; two granddaughters, Christina L. Poli and Jessica A. Poli; and a sister, Dolores Hipsley of Washington, DC.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg where services will be held at 8 pm. Interment will be held in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
