Grace Smith

Grace M. (Stein) Smith, 81, passed away on July 9, 2013. She was born in West Hazleton, lived many years in Monroeville, and most recently lived in Greensburg.
Following high school, she went to art school in New York City and became a fashion design artist both in NYC and in Allentown, PA. Years later, she went to Robert Morris College and received her degree in Business Information Systems. She worked various business computer systems analysis jobs at Westinghouse, Giant Eagle, and Mellon Bank. Her hobbies included reading, travel, and bridge. She was a Bronze Master for Duplicate Bridge.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Gertrude Stein, and her brother John Stein.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, David Smith, her son, Alan (Ellen) Smith of Rochester Ny and daughter, Cindy (Tom) Haag of North Huntingdon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Samantha and Sarah Haag and Meghan and Daniel Smith.
