Harold David "Jelly" Adams, 74, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Jelly was born May 5, 1938, in Yukon, the son of the late Frank and Nina Casey Adams.
He served in the Army. While serving in the Army, he was stationed in Alaska, where he was also an accomplished boxer. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. In his younger years, he loved to ride his Harley Davidson. Jelly was employed at Greensburg Water Proofing for many years. He worked construction and also worked as a mason. He was an active member of the AMVETS and the American Legion.
Jelly is survived by two sisters, Betty Grant and husband, Harvey, of McKeesport, and Joann Doty, of Greensburg; children, Valerie Ammons and husband, Nathaniel, of Blairsville, Frank and Darin Kozinko, of Jeannette; eight grandchildren, April, Demetri, Nikya, Thalyiah, Sierra, Daizha, Alexia and Josh.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Greater Parkview Church. KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greater Parkview Church, 103 Westminster Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601.
