Harry Keenan

Harry Richard Keenan, 71, of Greensburg (Hempfield Township), died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his home. He was born in Greensburg on September 19, 1943, a son of the late Harry J. and Frances Hanna Keenan. Harry was a veteran and served with the US Navy. Prior to retirement, he was a communication technician at AT&T with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg. Harry was an avid sportsman and he loved the outdoors and camping. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Janet Lee Wilburn Keenan; a son, Michael Keenan of Murrysville and a daughter, Beth Keenan of Greensburg; 2 stepsons, Matthew Speakman of Morgantown, WV and Brian Speakman of Fairmont, WV; 2 stepdaughters, Lisa Wolfe of Morgantown, WV and Christina Speakman of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren, Nicolas and Gwendolyn Keenan, Jairus, Myranda, Domonick, Isaac and Ian Speakman; 2 sisters, Frances Pizza of Kissimmee, FL and Barb Rumbaugh of Greensburg. Harry's family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 140 South Pennsylvania Avenue, Greensburg, with Pastor Brian B. Chaffee officiating. Everyone please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
