Hazel H. Rosensteel, 88 of South Greensburg died Monday 1/6/2014 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in South Greensburg on 7/19/1925 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Vera Walton Holbert. Hazel was a long time member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was a former employee for the Rutter Real Estate and Contracting Co. Hazel for many years was involved with the Girl Scouts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Rosensteel and a sister Gerry Mori.
She is survived by her children Kathy (Oren)Murray, David (Jeanne) Rosensteel and Sharon (Lee) Rettedal and five grandchildren, Oren (Eliz) Murray II, Rochelle (Brian) Warner, Devin (Audra) Murray, Steve (Heather) Rettedal and Scott(Liisa)Rettedal and seven great grandchildren, Talon, Shayna, Peyton, Harrison, Cailyn, Shelby and Lilly and a niece Terry Kilbury and a nephew Greg Mori.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM a t the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg.
Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 am with Rev. Beverly Gross officiating. Interment will be held in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
