Heather Lynn Gongaware, 22 of Greensburg, passed away, Friday, July 4, 2014 at her home.
She was born August 9, 1991 in Greensburg, and was the daughter of David William Gongaware, Jr. of Greensburg and Donnie (Metz) Gongaware of Florida.
Heather was a member of the Giving Tree Drop In Center.
Heather was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, David Gongaware Sr. and maternal grandparents, Linda and Curtis Scharer III.
Besides her parents, she is survived by grandmother, Patricia Greece, uncle, Scott (Del) Gongaware of Colorado, aunt, Lynrae (Bill) Chindamo of Florida , uncle, Randy Metz of Scottdale , nephew, Eric Gongaware, niece, Ashley Metz, nephew, Nicholas Brozik, niece, Jewlyn Chindamo and numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 12pm to 2pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held on Thursday at 2pm in the funeral home with Rev. Cliff Hockensmith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
