Helen Marie Bachman Dey, 83, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born Dec. 1, 1931, in Butler, a daughter of the late Elry and Mary Belle Ritchey Bachman.
She was a member of Charter Oak United Methodist Church. Helen belonged to several area golf and bowling leagues. She enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing with her late husband, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Miller Dey; a brother, Clair Bachman; six sisters, Opal Frederick Miller, Janice Olexsak, Alice "Mae" Stehle, Frances Grelling, Ethel Crider and Edna Duffy; and a son-in-law, Robert Pischke.
Helen is survived by her son, Wesley H. Dey and wife, Norma; daughter, Cynthia D. Pischke; a brother, Lloyd Bachman and wife, Peggy; a brother-in-law, William Duffy; and grandsons, Ryan, Jason and Sean Pischke.
Friends and family will gather from noon until Helen's memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24 at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., with Pastor Jonathan Hartland officiating.
