Helen Louch Waugaman, 88 of Greensburg, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.
She was born on February 21, 1927, a daughter of the late Mike and Helen Fallat Louch.
Helen was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Greensburg, where she belonged to the church's Womens Association. She also helped with church rummage and bake sales. After graduating from Greensburg Salem High School she worked for Bell Telephone, Greensburg, as an assistant chief operator. She later became traffic manager/chief operator in New Castle, Butler and Charleroi, before retiring in 1977 with 33 years of service. Helen was a member of Pioneers of Bell Telephone. For many years, she volunteered at Westmoreland Manor, where she was secretary of the volunteers and for Operation Santa Claus. Helen was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needed help.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Waugaman; her sister, Mildred L. Waugaman; a nephew, David Louch.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Louch, Jr. (Naoma) of Cape Coral, FL; a step daughter, Darcy Waugaman and her partner Hazel Thomas of Maysville, GA; 2 nieces, Pam Williams (Rich) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Helen Dyson (Henry) of Greensburg; 2 great nieces, Emily and Shelley Dyson; a great nephew, Andrew Dyson; a great, great nephew, Talin Dyson; also, very good neighbors, Ray, Jennifer and Don Dunlap.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30 PM at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
Helen's funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Robert McKie officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg.
