Howard Solomon Jr

Howard O. Solomon Jr. 84 of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in his home.
He was born in Scottdale and was the Son of the late Howard O. Solomon, Sr. and Evelyn Lucille Solomon.
He was the owner of Solomon Painting and Decorating Co. in Greensburg for many years.
Howard served during WW II in the Navy and was a
member and former trustee of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Greensburg and a member of Westmoreland Masonic Lodge #518, the Syria Shrine, Tall Cedars Forest #77 and various other Masonic organizations.
Howard was preceded in death besides his parents by his loving wife, Phyllis E. (Byars) Solomon and sister Carol Wilson .
Surviving are his Son, Dr. Howard J. Solomon of Lima , Ohio, and four grandchildren Ashley, Hannah, Johnathan and Maxwell Solomon along with his Sister, Louise Cochran of Scottdale, and his Brother, Keith Solomon and wife Marilyn of Greensburg.
Family and Friends will be received Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Aimee Twigg officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Greensburg.
