Hubert C. Woodsum, 84 of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in New Haven Court, Hempfield Township.
He was born May 13, 1928 in Portland, ME, son of the late Norton A. and Edith M. Woodsum.
Hubert was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greensburg, Philanthropy Lodge 225 and had 50 years of service with the Boy Scouts of America being a Scout Master and Order of Arrow Member.
He retired as an Engineer fromWestinghouse Corp. in the Nuclear Division.
Surviving are his wife, Anne Johnston Woodsum, son, Harvey Woodsum and wife, Nancy, daughter, Valerie Dawson and husband, Richard, son, Ralph Woodsum, daughter, Barbara Miller and husband, Ronald, son, John Gillan, daughter, Andrea Stillwell and husband, David, Seven Grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 4 to 7pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, PA. Members of Philanthropy Lodge No. 225 F. & A.M.will hold a Masonic service at 6:30pm on Friday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10am.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
