I.Celeste D'Antonio, 83, of Greensburg died peacefully surrounded by family Monday May 26, 2014 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born October 5, 1930 in Windber, Pa., the daughter of the late Ernest and Irma (Mucciola) Bartolomucci.

She was the devoted wife of the late Dominic D'Antonio; loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to; children Brian, Celeste and Cathy D'Antonio; granddaughters Christine and Stephanie D'Antonio, Theresa and Gina Chesterfield; and great-granddaughter Ava.

Before beginning her married life, she graduated from Cambria-Rowe Business College and worked as a stenographer and proof-reader for the Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec). She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, J. Donald, Ernest Nunzio, and Victor E. Bartolomucci. She is survived by her sisters Clara D'Antonio and Mary Ann Tedjeske (Robert) and her brother, William Bartolomucci (Millie) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was devoted to making the lives of her family comfortable and fulfilling; she led by example offering love and support whenever needed. She was always available to proof a paper or assist with school-work not to mention offering ideas and assistance for last minute projects. She will be missed by all but will be remembered for her teaching of values, integrity and love of family.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg where Prayers of Transfer will be held on Friday at 9 am followed by her Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Church, Greensburg.
