Jack L. Baluh , 79, of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday March 16, 2013 in the Greensburg Care Center. He was born on February 8, 1934 in Grindstone and was the son of the late John and Adeline Hrabak Baluh. Jack served in the Army during the Korean War. He was one of the founding members and presently serving as President of the West Point VFD and a former Fire Chief. He was a longtime member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Latrobe and had served as a trustee and the church choir and a member of Tuesday Bible Class. He had retired in 2004 as an estimator and foreman for Leese and Co. in Greensburg. He was preceded in death besides his parents by his first wife Barbara. Jack is survived by his wife Lucy Showers Baluh and a daughter Linda Bono and husband Norman of Greensburg and a son Douglas Baluh and companion Karen Davis of Burlington, N.J. and step children, Karen Ciocco of Latrobe, Carol Blum and husband Bob of San Diego, Ca. and William Martz and wife Lori of Ligonier , a brother Donald Baluh and wife Ann of Latrobe and sister Doris Lori of Mechanicsburg and numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews and a special great granddaughter Katelyn. Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am in the Bethany United Methodist Church, 2415 Laveen Street, Latrobe with Rev. Augie Twigg officiating. (Everyone please go directly to the church) Graveside services will be held at a later time in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
