Jacqueline L. Paltis of Greensburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday morning December 13.
Jacqueline was a chiropractor, healer, teacher and inspiration to many. She was a healing professional for over 25 years, taught healing seminars to other health professionals internationally, and was the author of The Sugar Control Bible and Cookbook.
Jacqueline was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 26, 1945. Her family later moved to Massapequa, New York, where she graduated from Massapequa High School. She is also a graduate of the Community College of New York and Logan College of Chiropractic.
Early in her professional life, Jacqueline worked as a book editor for McMillan and Company, New York. Developing in interest in the healing arts, she went on to become a lifelong student of a variety of health-related disciplines. In addition to her chiropractic degree, she was certified or credentialed as a naturopath, homeopath, clinical nutritionist, NLP trainer, and Total Body Modification Instructor.
Jacqueline was a past member of the National Speakers Association, a past president of the Greensburg Toastmasters Club, and was recognized by the Toastmasters international as a Distinguished Toastmaster.
She was marred to professional development coach Sam Wieder for 20 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother Harry Paltis of Occidental, California and a sister Robin Paltis of Patchogue, New York.

A memorial service for Jacqueline will be held at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME at 10 am this Friday, December 17th. The funeral home is located at 524 NORTH MAIN STREET. GREENSBURG. PA.
