James "Jim" G. Owens III, 79, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015.
He was born in 1935 to James and Helen (Gallagher) in Irwin.
Jim was the former owner of Jim Owens Country Ford, Dodge and Subaru. He had spent more than 50 years in the car dealership business before his retirement.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Owens, Kathy Eubanks and Kimberly White and husband, Brian; his grandchildren, Shannon Owens, Savannah Eubanks, Allison Hurst and husband, Russell, Amanda Princehorn, Taylor White and Jada White; a brother, Thomas Owens and wife, Donna; stepchildren, Michael Lenihan, Patti Henry and husband, Larry, and Gary Lenihan and wife, Katie; a sister-in-law, Alice Owens; and special friend, Jean Yanos.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Donna Owens, in 1984; his second wife, Carolyn (Lenihan) Owens, in 2003; and a brother, Jack Owens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Irwin Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
