Janet R. Matchett, 88, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
She was born on September 2, 1926, the only daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Reedy and the late Minnie Mae (Burr) Reedy.
She worked as a school psychologist for the Blackhawk district.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Franklin ("Buzz") Reedy II and her husband, Charles Matchett.
Surviving are her five children, Brian Kemerer (Belmont MA), Pamela Kemerer Barnette (Woodbridge VA), Patricia Kemerer Dietly (McLean VA), Bruce Kemerer (Ligonier PA), and Bryce Jason Kemerer (Columbus OH), and her two step-children, Stephen Matchett and Laurie Matchett Shaw, as well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Honoring Janet's wishes there will be no public visitation and services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1120 Harvey Ave, Greensburg, PA, 15601.
