Janny Beck Jameson, 92 of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Greensburg Care Center.
She was born April 16, 1923 in Karns City, PA, a daughter of the late John Albert and Elva (Frazier) Beck.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William G. Jameson Sr. and also two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are her three children, Priscilla (Ray) Richardson of Greensburg, William (Carole) Jameson Jr., of San Jose, CA, and Thomas (Marcia) Jameson of Denver CO; six grandchildren, Margaret Richardson (Mark) Giron, Anne Richardson (Michael Vallano), Thomas Richardson (Arthur Perez), Jonathan (Courtney) Jameson, Abby Jameson (Sam) Heider, Joseph (Jamie) Jameson, four great grandchildren, Brady Giron, Eli Giron, William G. Jameson III, and Jonathan S. Jameson Jr. She is also survived by her brother, George Beck and her sister, Marjorie Ritchie.
Janny received a degree in chemistry from Pennsylvania College for Women (Chatham University) and was a member of AAUW, the Westmoreland County Historical Society, and the Greensburg Art Club. She was a genealogist, an artist, and an author.
Family will receive friends from noon to 2pm on Wednesday, June 17 at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
A memorial service to celebrate Janny's life will immediately follow at 2pm in the funeral home.
